I went to the CUA campus, expecting it to be fairly empty. I was quite surprised to see several groups of people being shown around. Were they prospective students being given tours? On July 4th? I don’t know. But I saw one group going inside the nursing building, and I don’t think they were prospective nursing students. So I really have no idea what was going on.
Inside the National Shrine, there were more people being shown around. This wasn’t surprising. Tourists are in the city for the holiday, and if they are Catholic, they might make a stop to see the shrine. I’m sure it was a busy day there all day.
When I was done with time at the shrine, I decided to see what was going on with the “block party” a few blocks away from my apartment. It was just getting started when I was there. There was some holiday food being sold, and some live music going on. There was also a very brief, light rain shower. I decided to eat lunch and go back home.
The rest of the day, I had no energy. My fatigue has been bad the last couple days, and it was probably at its lowest point yesterday. But, in the middle of it, I had a few bursts of energy, and read more from Secret Agent 666 during those times. Otherwise, I rested.
