Yesterday, we had a fair crowd at St Gregory’s for the ascension; more than I expected (I thought most would have gone on the Vespers with Liturgy service the night before). It was also the shortest service I’ve been to at St Gregory’s (in part because there was no homily). But it was still good to go there instead of CUA where they would not have remembered the ascension in the liturgy (since Washington DC has moved the obligation to Sunday).
This morning I woke up with a headache, and quickly took an advil. It seems to be helping. But I wonder what caused the headache — whatever it is, it woke me up a bit earlier than my average time.
